Job Description Overview 

Hilltop Wealth Advisors is growing, and we’re seeking a growth-focused Sales Advisor to help expand our impact as we scale toward a $1B+ multi-office RIA. This role is ideal for an advisor who thrives in discovery conversations, relationship-building, and closing new client relationships, while partnering closely with Lead Advisors and the service team to deliver a world-class client experience. 
 
The Sales Advisor is not the primary long-term service owner for most client relationships. Instead, this role focuses on new client acquisition, relationship expansion, and referral development—allowing Hilltop to grow intentionally without compromising service excellence.

Responsibilities Include 

• Lead discovery, qualification, and closing conversations with prospective clients 
• Convert ideal prospects into long-term Hilltop clients 
• Identify opportunities to expand assets and planning relationships with existing clients 
• Cultivate client referrals and Centers of Influence (CPAs, attorneys, etc.) 
• Represent Hilltop professionally in community and growth-oriented settings 
• Partner with Lead Advisors to ensure a seamless onboarding and transition experience 
• Collaborate with planning, investment, and client service teams to support growth initiatives 

Typical Skills and Knowledge Requirements 

• Extensive experience working with high-net-worth families 
• Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning concepts 
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, empathy, and listening) 
• Demonstrates personal integrity and sound judgment 
• High emotional intelligence and comfort leading client conversations 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities 
• Familiarity with tools such as eMoney, Holistiplan, and Nitrogen preferred 

Experience and Education Requirements 

• 7–12+ years of experience in financial advisory services or wealth management 
• Bachelor’s degree required 
• CFP® certification required 
• Series 65 required 
• Desire to work directly with prospective and existing clients 
• Strong self-leadership, professionalism, and technology aptitude 

Compensation and Benefits 

• Competitive base salary ($150,000 - $200,000)
• Participation in Hilltop’s firm-wide revenue incentive pool
